Welcome.

This site has been years in the making. Some of you may remember the days when I wrote under “Erin Would Rather Walk…or Run” and I chronicled my experiences while training for long distance road races. Even then, I found myself pulled to reflect on the range of sensations produced by my body, the wild variety of thoughts that arose in my mind, and what I saw in the world around me as I covered those miles. It was during that time I really began to make connections between the micro-world of myself and the macro-world that we live on and participate in.

However - I’ve always been a voraciously curious person and, as my father will tell you, drawn to trying to fully understand anything that captured my attention.

After many years away from long-form writing, I’m excited to begin publishing content and resources born from this curiosity. Expect to find reflections that look outwards and inwards. Some will console you; some will challenge you; all will ask you questions. Much like the picture associated with this post showcasing a contrast between vibrant colors and inky darkness, the theme I increasingly find everywhere is that living life fully is about learning to hold the tension of opposites - in our mind, our body, and our spirit.

My 2025 blog schedule is weekly, on Fridays.

Until next time - be well, beautiful people. I’m so glad you’re here.
