The little house saw

I’m popping up for air from pre-move home projects and returning with round two of story time. A picture book written by Anna Lee Landin and illustrated by Daniela Volpari, The Little House Saw “gives us both the permission and the nudge we may need to step into the uncomfortable and to face the destruction, so we can build the life we truly love, believe, and imagine.”

“Neighbors came with their bricks,

they came with their trees,

but the little house declined,

just sat there and breathed.

The little house knew

it would all be okay.

Sometimes it takes time

when finding your way. “

I enjoyed following Anna Lee on Instgram for many years and during that time watched this book be produced and take launch. Landin, herself a wonderful visual artist, spoke of the thrill and honor of working with Volpari, who she felt strongly was to illustrate this work. The resulting book is beautiful, so I’d say her intuition was spot on.

I highly recommend you order a copy and experience it yourself.
